Product Introduction
1, Structure of drum dryer
The main body of a drum dryer is a rotating cylinder that is
slightly inclined from the horizontal line, driven by gears, with a
speed of generally 2-6 r/min. The inclination of the cylinder is
related to its length, usually between 1-5.
It is mainly composed of rotating body, lifting plate, transmission
device, support device, sealing ring and other components.
2, Working principle
The material is fed from the higher end of the rotary drum and
comes into contact with hot air. As the cylinder rotates, the
material flows towards the lower end under the action of gravity
and is dried before being discharged. The dryer operates under
negative pressure conditions, and sealing devices are used at both
the feeding and discharging ends to prevent air leakage.
The material enters the drum through the feeding device and is
continuously picked up and scattered in a spiral motion under the
action of the lifting plate to achieve drying heat exchange. The
material that achieves the drying standard quickly moves out of the
drum under the action of hot air, while the wet material that does
not achieve the drying standard cannot move quickly due to its own
weight. It is fully dried in the lifting plate and discharged to
achieve the drying purpose.
3, Applicable materials
In the agriculture, feed, and fertilizer industries, it is suitable
for starch residue, medicinal residue, fruit residue, sugarcane
bagasse, organic compound fertilizer, sludge, etc. It is also
widely used for drying alfalfa grass, DDGS, sawdust, etc.
In industries such as chemical, mining, and metallurgy, it can be
used for drying materials such as ores, slag, and metal powders.
4, Product Features
Equipment structure
Adopting a self-aligning tugboat structure, the cooperation between
the tugboat and the rolling ring is good, greatly reducing wear and
power consumption.
The specially designed gear wheel structure greatly reduces the
horizontal thrust caused by the tilting operation of the equipment,
